Hi there! Thanks for wandering into my little bubble of the internet! I am so thankful you're here.

My name is Lauren, and I’m 31 years young and have been aggressively pursuing my dreams for almost 15 amazing years! I’m a photographer at my center, but also love most creative activities, including cosplaying, dancing at funkytown and singing karaoke! I’m down for all the adventures, which is how I landed the super rad job of traveling the country to conventions to work with cosplayers from all over!

My roots have been and always will be in Kansas City, and I’m super grateful to see how much I grow in the beautiful studio space of the Oliver Building, alongside so many other incredible, creative women!

I’m a plus sized tattoo covered baddie, and a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and am the mother to a beautiful mini Aussie named Billie. Life is not at all what I imagined it would be - and thank all the stars for that.

My goal as a photographer is to help you realize the badass, beautiful, intriguing creature you are! I strive to create a warm, comfortable environment, and really pull out the real you (no matter how awkward you think you are in front of the camera, I promise, you'll feel like a rockstar - and look it, too!). I'm a very hands on and directive photographer, and love those posed candid shots, those in between moments.

To be honest, I just love people and photography and creating. So much.

I wonder what shenanigans I'll get into next!

Hope to see you there!

THE OLIVER BUILDING

I'm so thankful I get to call this absolutely incredible building home for the next year! I'll still be traveling, but have recently rescued a mini Aussie, and I really want to help raise her, and that means being home more often than I have been. The lighter travel schedule is also good for my mental health and a great move to help prevent burnout (again). Don't worry, I'll still be traveling, I'll just be super selective, and also ask what you guys think! There's a couple cons I'll never drop, but I'm excited for the change of pace!

With a lighter travel schedule, but still having an incredible photographer bug, I'm proud to say I'll be getting back to studio portraits and boudoir. For the next year, I'm renting at the Oliver Building in Kansas City, alongside some incredible creators and artists. It's an empowering energy and I can't wait to share this unique space with you!

Below you'll find images of the studio, and some example work from some of my friends at the Oliver Building! Soooo many amazing, moody spaces in this privately owned studio / wedding venue, and I can't wait to show it off to you all!
